Representatives of various Wagoner County Home and Community Educators (HCE) groups have been working on lap quilts this summer for veterans who reside at the Talahina Veteran’s Center in Talahina.
Last week the ladies presented the quilts to Wagoner County Disabled American Veterans Chapter 88 representative Linda Oliver for delivery to the center.
Many of the quilts were designed during Sew-In classes at the Wagoner County OSU Extension Center while others were worked on at HCE members' homes.
