UPDATE – Missing woman located, abductor now in custody

Wagoner County deputies have captured kidnapping suspect Jason Lynch.

Deputies responded to a tip that Lynch was near the neighborhood park in the subdivision his wife lives in.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

First Update

A missing Broken Arrow woman has been located and is back in Wagoner County.

Wagoner County Sheriff's Department Major Gary Handley said Mara Lynch was located in good condition around 11:30 p.m. Monday, July 22. She had been missing since Monday morning after being involved in a domestic dispute.

A 911 hang-up call led to the investigation.

Her abductor, Jason Lynch, 40, has a felony no-bond kidnapping warrant out for his arrest. Jason is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 6-feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 190 pounds. He is last known to be driving a black Ford 150 with Oklahoma tag 977HPN.

Sheriff Bob Colbert extended his appreciation to the community for their vigilance, support and assistance in the matter.

Wagoner County authorities are looking for a woman who is missing after being involved in a domestic dispute early this morning.

Major Dustin Door reports at 6:20 a.m. Monday they received a 911 hang-up call from the Broken Arrow area of Wagoner County. Upon investigating, they found a domestic dispute had occurred.

The female involved in the dispute, Mara Lynch, is now missing.

“It appears she is with her husband, Jason Lynch, unwillingly and he has taken her to an unknown location,” Major Dorr said.

Mara Lynch is described as a white female standing 5-feet, 5-inches tall weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Jason Lynch is described as a white male standing 6-feet, 1-inch tall weighing 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

They were last seen in a 2012 black Ford F150 pickup bearing Oklahoma tag 977-HPN.

If anyone has information which can help deputies in this case or who has made contact with the Lynches, call the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office at 918-485-3124 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
