How much does it cost to join the SDA union?
Member fees are calculated according to the amount of hours you expect to work (inclusive of GST): 1 to 9 hours per week: $8.20 per fortnight. 10 to 19 hours per week: $14.60 per fortnight. 20 hours or more per week: $20.40 per fortnight.
How do I leave the SDA?
If you join the SDA then change your mind or later decide you don’t want to be a member, you can resign by sending us a signed letter of resignation (or email containing a hand written signature). We will then instruct your employer to stop deducting Union fees and your membership with the SDA will cease.
